CALL FOR AD HOC REVIEWERS

We are interested in expanding our pool of ad hoc reviewers for Psychotherapy: Theory, Research, Practice, and Training. Ad hoc reviewers are generally asked to review between two and four manuscripts a year. If you are interested, please contact the editor, Charles J. Gelso, at gelso@psyc.umd.edu and attach a copy of your vita.

CALL FOR PRACTICE REVIEWS

We are interested in publishing Practice Reviews in Psychotherapy: Theory, Research, Practice, and Training. Such papers provide reviews of empirical and/or theoretical literature on clinically-relevant topics, and they may vary considerably in length (e.g., 10 - 30 text pages). The hallmark of practice reviews is their focus on what a body of research or theory implies for practice. The key questions addressed by these reviews are, "what do these findings imply for the practicing psychotherapy?" and "how might these findings guide psychotherapeutic practice?" For more details, see the description of practice reviews in any issue of the Journal. If you are interested in writing such a review, please contact Dr. Charles J. Gelso at gelso@psyc.umd.edu or 301-405-5909.
