NEWS YOU CAN USE!

Welcome to this new feature of Division 29's Psychotherapy E-News, News You Can Use.  As part of my Presidential Initiative of fostering greater links between research and practice for psychotherapists News You Can Use provides practical and useful information for practicing psychotherapists based on the available research literature.  It is hoped that research colleagues will forward contributions to me to share with our members. To do so, please share with us an area of recent research that you believe has direct and important implications for practicing psychotherapists.  In other words, what current research in psychotherapy do you find important and exciting and that you believe is important for practicing psychotherapists to know about and integrate into their practices now?  Contributions should be approximately two to four pages in length and need not be previously published.  Please forward all contributions to me at drjbarnett1@comcast.net .

I welcome contributions from our research colleagues and I hope our practitioner colleagues find this a valuable resource in their clinical work.  It is hoped that this new feature of Psychotherapy E-News will help further Division 29's mission and provide a valuable resource for you, our valued members.
